Whaaaat, another dev blog in less than a week?! What madness has befallen this world?!

Blacksmith NPCs:
Introducing one of the most requested updates for Empires, blacksmith NPC's! With these npc's, your empire can keep producing tools and armor for your empire, even when everyone is offline!
You can hire a blacksmith npc by running the command "/blacksmith hirenpc <name>". This will cost 600,000 coins. They also take a fee of 180 coins every 5 minutes of work from your empire bank, so they are not cheap. (Please note with the names, you may not reference any name or username on the server in either a satirical or literal way. Please come up with original names, perhaps even "Smith". Failure to follow this rule will result in staff firing this NPC. Also note that you cannot change the name after you hire them.)

Weeks are very long here in Mystian Network's headquarters.
Additions:
FOBs (Forward Operating Bases):
FOBs have been introduced to the server to spice combat up. One of the main flaws we found with combat is if you are the attacking group and a member of your party dies, they have to make a trek from their city back to the front line, meaning a kill of an attacker greatly outmatches a kill of a defender. In order to counteract this, we have made a system where you can set up a FOB for your alliance to spawn on.
After your first successful capture of a tower, you can pay to have it turn into a FOB. There is a one off fee of 500,000 coins to make that captured tower a base, but trust me in saying it will probably be the most important point in the war.

We have finally come up with a system for how rebellions will work....

This "week" there was only a small bunch of balance fixes. We have some large updates in the works from the results of the recent polls, so stay tuned for those dropping!

Trains:
Trains are the new speedy way to get from city to city, all connecting to the main hub in Starry! Tickets are sold at every train station! You must have a ticket to ride a train, and the ticket must match the destination, or else the train will not allow you on. Sometimes, some rails have multiple trains running on them, so some trains will not allow you to board.
Be careful however, trains are deadly! They have already claimed over 20 lives. You have been warned.

This update contains the long awaited magic update!
New Content
Magic:
A strange cluster of underwater pillars have been discovered under Starry. An expert group of United Empire Scientists have gone underwater to study these pillars, and have made some very interesting discoveries. These pillars, upon being mined, will drop shards that seem to be able to hold great power inside of them. We think that this discovery and the recent rise of these... elemental altars... seems to be a new system introduced to us via the myst.
Some of our scientists have embarked carrying these shards to the altars around Mysto. Several... have seemingly been granted 'powers' based around the elements they went to. They have also refused to explain how they were given these powers, resulting in a large rift between the research council and these new found "Mages."

Hello Mystians! Today we are bringing a long awaited update to you, Kill Contracts!
New Content
Kill Contracts:
Kill contracts are finally here, so grab your gear and get ready to fight some bosses for some loot!
You can start a kill contract by talking to Weasel in the underground tavern to the South-East of Starry. As of now, we only have easy bosses, but don't let that fool you, they are not easy. Purchase a contract from Weasel and then go talk to the party creator. From there, you can create a party, ready up, invite others, and start!
Once you start, there is no going back. If you die in the arena, you will lose your items. Contracts are not refunded and are used as soon as you go into the arena. Any death by disconnect, server restart, or any other event are not going to be refunded.
Do be warned, bosses have various mechanics that differ from each...

- Fixed an issue where occupied city chunks would not show up on dynmap.
- Added the ability to retake territory under enemy control as long as the enemy team is online.
- Fixed an issue where subleasing would not work.
- Fixed city capture.
- Changed the city name on your scoreboard to red if the chunk is occupied by a foreign power during war.

- Changed blacksmith XP for official empires to be per person instead of per empire. This only affects Dawnhaven.

I, Wraith King of Slyvathen, have found the true shadow god, Lord Kuk, and I have become enlightened again through his teachings. The shadow is not an evil the world must fear. It should be used for peace and in balance with the light. Therefore the Kingdom of Slyvathen has opened it's city gates again and allows free travel in and out of the city for all. Furthermore to celebrate the recent ending to the war Kalastren will be hosting war games including gladiator battles, and some wolf fighting.
Rules:
1. Only 1v1 fighting
2. If both opponents refuse to fight then they both lose.
3. It will sparring. No popping opponents.
Entry:
Price for fighting in gladiator battles: 50 coins
Award for winning:
1st place 10k coins
2nd place 5k
3rd place 3k
Price for fighting wolves: 0 coins
No awards except your life and 50 coins per wolf you kill. This is kinda the shows that will go on inbetween fighters.

This is the start of a new development system where every week we will update everyone on our plans, what the current progress on projects are, and all the new changes we have implemented! We will also be reporting on community events in these, to get more players involved!

- The server is now 1.12!
- You can now transfer players as mayor or official to other cities in your empire. Before, they had to leave the empire and join the other city... that was silly.
- Fixed an issue where you could not vassal someone correctly.
- Territory towers now generate biome-specific resources and can be collected at the tower itself. This was voted on by the community in Content Poll #001.
- Myst Amplifiers are now live! You can now deposit jewels in your bank by doing the command /e depositjewels <amount>. The amplifiers will give your whole empire bonuses,...
